I’m Ruby, a 19 year old sex-positive Chicana Queer/Pan-sexual feminist with a love of social justice. I currently have a boyfriend, and we’ve been going out for 3.5 months. I’m an undergrad student majoring in Psychology who aspires to climb the ladder of higher education. I might be a mediator or counselor, who knows!

I’m a proud Californian of Mexican heritage, and working on maintaining my bilingual abilities. I laugh at the weirdest things. I have different senses of humor. I’m morbid, clever, apathetic, sarcastic, dorky, witty, nonsensical or ridiculous (sometimes all at once). I’m either emotionally detached or a bleeding heart. Within the first few moments of meeting me, people tend to spill their guts. I am passionate, I am independent and I am like a horse with blinders on. I have a sharp tongue when I get defensive. I judge you when you treat others poorly. I’m a procrastinating perfectionist with a fluctuating self confidence. I like sparkling wine, Shirley Temples and virgin Piña Coladas. I observe little nuances that people make without noticing they are making them. I’m funny but never on demand. One of the reasons I couldn’t make it as a stand up comedian.
My interests are chocolate, knitting, tea, psychology, poetry, ice cream, music, feminism, coffee, acupuncture, literature, korean dramas, documentaries, foreign films and Siamese cats.
